Dinner and a Movie

In November Ael Chunon sponsored a "Dinner and a Movie." The movie was the cd of the History of Millis Jewish Hotels that was produced and put on by none other than our lifetime member, Julius Rosen. Julius is a member of the Millis Historical Society and the group played a huge role in helping to make this a reality. Julius was on hand this evening to comment and enjoy the evening. Many of the elders remarked that it brought back "the old days" and "many happy memories."
The dinner was a huge deli spread catered by the Butcherie II. A great time was had by all attendees and it opened up a lot of eyes as to what Millis was to the Jewish community of Massachusetts and surrounding areas in the early part of the century. Everyone was able to lend a hand to make it a successful night!
